<p>Building network marketing businesses is all about building relationships through COMMUNICATION. Many people on social media fail to build a relationship with their Facebook or Twitter friends and instantly pitch them about their business.</p>
<p>Not everyone on the social media sites is going to respond to you. Here are three main reasons:</p>
<p>1. They don&#8217;t like your profile photo.</p>
<p>2. They don&#8217;t like what you have on your profile.</p>
<p>3. You are talking to the wrong people.</p>
<p>This is an important law by Max Steingart: <strong>&#8220;The key to avoiding rejection is to NOT talk about your business opportunity until you&#8217;ve learned that your friend has a need or interest in your product or service.&#8221;</strong></p>
<p><strong>&#8220;Don&#8217;t focus on the sale. Focus on whether there is a sale to be made.&#8221;<br />
 </strong></p>
<p>People don&#8217;t like to get pitched period. Only mention your business when a person says somethting like: &#8220;What are you working on?&#8221; or &#8220;What business are you involved with?&#8221;</p>
<p>Here are 12 questions that you can start asking to anyone on social media sites: (They don&#8217;t  even have to be interested in network marketing. You can use these questions to anyone who isn&#8217;t a network marketer)</p>
<p>1. What do you do?<br />
 2. What does that entail?<br />
 3. How long have you done it?<br />
 4. What did you do before?<br />
 5. How are you being affected by what&#8217;s happening in the economy?<br />
 6. How do you like what you&#8217;re doing?<br />
 7. Have you ever thought about doing anything else?<br />
 8. Are you familiar with the network marketing industry?<br />
 9. What experience do you have?<br />
 10. Why do you think you weren&#8217;t successful?<br />
 11. Would you be open to looking at another company that didn&#8217;t have those obstacles?</p>
<p>First 7 questions will tell you if they have a NEED. If they don&#8217;t have a need, then they are not great prospects to keep talking to about your business.</p>
<p>The 12 Questions To Ask Other Network Marketers</p>
<p>1.Are you still active in your company?<br />
 2. Are you building a business or just using the products?<br />
 3. Are you doing the business full time or part time?<br />
 4.How long have you been doing it?<br />
 5. What was it that attracted you to the company?<br />
 6. Is this your first experience in network marketing?<br />
 7.If not, what was your first networking experience?<br />
 8. How many companies did you try?<br />
 9. How are you doing?<br />
 10 Are you happy with the money you are making? <br />
 11. Why do you think you couldn&#8217;t make money in the business?<br />
 12. Would you be open to looking at another company that didn&#8217;t have <br />
 those obstacles?</p>
<p>If they answer YES to the last question, you can introduce your business to them and talk about the benefits that your prospect will have if he/she decides to join you. <strong>It is best that you ask these questions through Facebook&#8217;s instant messaging feature.</strong> It is also recommended that you get on the phone and speak with your prospect. Say something like &#8220;My fingers are tired. What is your phone number? If they give you their number, give them a ring.</p>
<p>This strategy works so well because;</p>
<p>1. You will never get rejected because you only introduce your business to interested prospects.</p>
<p>2. The leads are FREE for crying out loud. Most advertising would cost $2-$6 a lead! You have hundreds of millions of free leads.</p>
<p>3. When you are instant messaging someone, they are right there in person. You can ask for their phone number and you don&#8217;t have to make an appointment because you can call them right then and there.</p>
<p><strong>Implement these strategies and you will NEVER run out of people to talk to about your business.<br />

<p>This is exactly how some of the top corporations in the world work today. Think of McDonald’s for instance. Ray Kroc the company’s founder, knew what leverage meant. Instead of focusing on how many burgers his store could sell, he focused on how many burgers others could sell for him. This is why Ray Kroc sold his franchise opportunity to others. More franchises sold equals more burgers sold, which equals more money for Ray.</p>

<p>As network marketers, our industry is no different. With each person that we sponsor, we are selling our franchise opportunity. More distributors means more products are sold. But here is what makes McDonald’s a really interesting story…</p>

<p>It’s food is TERRIBLE for you. (even though it tastes good) It’s far from fresh and healthy. Even though the product stinks, McDonald’s is the world’s most successful food franchise in human history.</p>

<p>How the heck did that happen?</p>

<p>Terrible product = #1 food franchise on the planet??????????</p>

<p>Ray Kroc knew that his product was not going to be the most important piece of the puzzle when it came down to creating success. The same goes for any network marketing business. When you have customers, the key is to give customers what they want.</p>

<p>You must have a system that almost anyone can duplicate. Ray had developed a system that gave potential franchise buyers exactly what they were looking for. It was to simply make money. This is exactly what Ray promoted.</p>
<p>He didn&#8217;t sell them the food, or how great his restaurants were. Ray sold a system. <br />
 He sold a system that any unskilled, inexperienced person could follow and still make sales.</p>

<p>What happened as a result? Thousands of franchise owners had their own McDonald’s store spitting sales for them throughout the planet. So, as a network marketer, selling a business franchise, what are you selling to your potential buyers?</p>

<p>If you are currently promoting your company replicated website, products and compensation plans, than you are probably struggling.Be smart. Do what Ray did.</p>

<p>People get rich in this world by solving other people&#8217;s problems, and when you sell someone your opportunity, you are not solving a problem, you are giving them a bigger one!</p>
<p>You see, products and compensation plans don&#8217;t make you successful. Systems do. And when I say systems, I mean a complete system which includes the pieces that bring in prospects (ads) and then informs them about your system (marketing).</p>

<p>Show your prospects a system for attaining the results they want, and they could care less about your product, price points, and competition. Solve their problem.</p>
<p>Provide them with a system that will bring them the results they desire, and you will see substantial results in your business.</p>

<p>Learn how to attract targeted prospects. Learn how to create the marketing that informs them about your product or service. Learn how to build a duplicatable system so effective, that anyone who is motivated will see results.</p>

<p>This was a great question. I like it a lot because the answer to this question will allow you to dominate your competition in any industry that you choose. Marketing is marketing no matter what anybody says. So what should Jennifer do?</p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>It doesn’t really matter how great Jennifer’s product or service is. It’s the way that she markets her product and business that counts. My answer to the question is called attraction marketing. It is the art of positioning yourself as a leader without blatantly saying that you are an expert.</p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>Jennifer needs to promote herself first, before her product or service. She needs to start branding herself. Why is that? People buy and work with others that have valuable knowledge to give them. When you become a tremendous source of information and value, it will not really matter how much it costs to join Jennifer’s business, or how much her products cost.</p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>Here’s the best part, becoming “the best” is not the hardest thing in the world. All you have to do is give valuable information to your target market. You have to give people without want. You might have a great product or service, but people will not be able to see how great it is, until they see you as someone who has value.</p>

<p>You MUST GIVE VALUABLE information to your target market.</p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>Here is what I would do if I were Jennifer: I would write reports or articles that talk about how you can have a healthier diet. I would write an article about something like:</p>

<p>“The 3 Steps To A Healthier Diet” (Mention the health drink as a better way to a healthier diet.)</p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>For her business, I would write something like: &#8220;The Biggest Mistakes That Network Marketers Make When Starting A Business”</p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>I would make sure to choose the right keywords in the title that get a decent amount of searches on Google (This will help you get tons of free traffic) I would then submit these articles to a bunch of article directories. (This is a free lead generation strategy by the way&#8230;)</p>
<p><br class="spacer_" /></p>
<p>When someone does a search for “Healthier Diet”, Jennifer’s article will come up, providing the readers with valuable information to a healthier diet. At the end of the articles, you are allowed to place a link to a website. This is known as a signature file. For the article about health, I would tell Jennifer to send her readers to a website that sells her health product.</p>

<p>For the article about Network Marketing, I would place a signature file link to an opt-in page. You have to offer your readers free beneficial information in exchange for their name, email and phone number.</p>

<p>When you generate that lead, don’t promote your business opportunity first, ask them how you can help them. If your prospect tells you that they need help with their business, don’t promote your business opportunity. This industry is all about relationship building. Your lead may not join you today, but 5 months down the road, things might change and they might be interested in working with you.</p>
