When I joined my first home business, I remember getting so excited with the idea of leverage in my life. All I had to do was sponsor a few people and sooner or later, I would have an army of people sponsoring other people into my business.  Sounds very simple right?

This is exactly how some of the top corporations in the world work today. Think of McDonald’s for instance. Ray Kroc the company’s founder, knew what leverage meant. Instead of focusing on how many burgers his store could sell, he focused on how many burgers others could sell for him. This is why Ray Kroc sold his franchise opportunity to others. More franchises sold equals more burgers sold, which equals more money for Ray.

As network marketers, our industry is no different. With each person that we sponsor, we are selling our franchise opportunity. More distributors means more products are sold. But here is what makes McDonald’s a really interesting story…

It’s food is TERRIBLE for you. (even though it tastes good) It’s far from fresh and healthy. Even though the product stinks, McDonald’s is the world’s most successful food franchise in human history.

How the heck did that happen?

Ray Kroc knew that his product was not going to be the most important piece of the puzzle when it came down to creating success. The same goes for any network marketing business. When you have customers, the key is to give customers what they want.

You must have a system that almost anyone can duplicate. Ray had developed a system that gave potential franchise buyers exactly what they were looking for. It was to simply make money. This is exactly what Ray promoted.

He didn’t sell them the food, or how great his restaurants were. Ray sold a system.
He sold a system that any unskilled, inexperienced person could follow and still make sales.

What happened as a result? Thousands of franchise owners had their own McDonald’s store spitting sales for them throughout the planet. So, as a network marketer, selling a business franchise, what are you selling to your potential buyers?

If you are currently promoting your company replicated website, products and compensation plans, than you are probably struggling.Be smart. Do what Ray did.

People get rich in this world by solving other people’s problems, and when you sell someone your opportunity, you are not solving a problem, you are giving them a bigger one!

You see, products and compensation plans don’t make you successful. Systems do. And when I say systems, I mean a complete system which includes the pieces that bring in prospects (ads) and then informs them about your system (marketing).

Show your prospects a system for attaining the results they want, and they could care less about your product, price points, and competition. Solve their problem.

Provide them with a system that will bring them the results they desire, and you will see substantial results in your business.

Learn how to attract targeted prospects. Learn how to create the marketing that informs them about your product or service. Learn how to build a duplicatable system so effective, that anyone who is motivated will see results.
